MoMA and Vans share a passion for inspiring creative expression and individuality around the world. The Vans MoMA Classic Slip-On combines the iconic Vans slip-on style with an allover print featuring Faith Ringgold’s vibrant art. It also includes printed sidewalls, padded collars for support and flexibility, elastic side accents, and signature rubber waffle outsoles.
Featured in this collection is contemporary artist, activist, author, and educator FAITH RINGGOLD (American, 1930– ) whose work addresses issues of social justice, race, and gender equality in paintings, works on paper, sculpture, narrative quilts, and more.
