British retailer END. continues its collaborative partnership with ASICS this season, following up 2018s Wasabi with the GEL Lyte III Pearl. Traditionally given as a 30th anniversary gift, the pearl symbolises something that takes time to grow fitting given the Shigeyuki Mitsui-designed sneaker turns 30 this year. The premium construction, teaming luxe suede with supple leather, is cast in a cascade of purples, ivory white and grey to reflect the iridescent nature of pearls, while the split-tongue design pays tribute to the models performance roots. All housed within a bespoke box, its finished with a mother of pearl sockliner, a clear rubber outsole and co-branded embroidery on the heels.
