Nike FIRST SIGHT SHADOW

Inspired by Nike Basketball silhouettes from the early 2000s, the Nike First Sight Shadow takes the innovation and athletic DNA of the court into a more expressive fashion form. Its exaggerated, futuristic proportions reinterpret the basketball shoe as a sculptural slip-on sneaker, with a rounded moulded upper, snug bootie-like construction and a specially developed traction pattern underfoot that takes its cues from the court.

This Light Crimson colourway turns up the intensity. Vivid red wraps around the sculpted upper, contrasted by Black through the collar and outsole. Along the heel and side panels, clusters of metallic silver TPU beads create a raised, almost compound-eye texture, bringing an unexpected jewellery-like detail to the athletic form. Small Metallic Silver Swooshes complete the contrast, while raised and recessed textures across the upper add to the shoe’s organic, futuristic character.

Despite its statement shape, the Shadow is surprisingly versatile to style. The strong red-and-black palette works easily with relaxed sportswear and denim, while its sculptural form can also anchor more experimental, fashion-led looks.
