Vans and The Museum of Modern Art collabourate on a footwear and apparel collection highlighting works by celebrated artists from MoMA’s collection. MoMA and Vans share a passion for inspiring creative expression and individuality around the world. The Vans MoMA Era combines the classic Vans low top skate shoe with an allover pattern featuring Edvard Munch’s The Scream print. It also includes metal eyelets, padded collars for support and flexibility, and signature rubber waffle outsoles.
Featured in this collection is the painter and printmaker EDVARD MUNCH (Norwegian, 1863-1944) whose work often reflects his personal emotions and experiences, and features themes including illness, jealousy, angst, and alienation.
