The NY based label Awake NYC teams up with Japanese sportswear brand ASICS once again to follow up their collaborative efforts on the Gel Kayano 5 360. This time round ASICS Awake bring back the Gel-Preleus a technical runner from the ASICS back catalogue that boasts serious ASICS tech with gel-cushioned soles and advanced High Abrasion Rubber. As well as an aesthetic that feels fully contemporary and of these times. Applying a similar method of colour blocking to their previous release, the uppers are awash with Grey, blue and a hint of green with subtle patterns and branding details worked into the design to produce an extremely well put together shoe that references the nature and design of that product on its initial release whilst elevating it and giving it an Awake feeling thats bang up to date.
