The Jordan x NOMARHYTHM TEXTILE Pant brings one of Tokyo’s most interesting textile labels into the Jordan world. Founded in 2005 by Masako Noguchi and Takuma Sasaki as NOMA t.d., the brand built its reputation around hand-drawn textiles, dyeing, embroidery and traditional craft techniques.
In 2025, NOMA t.d. became NOMARHYTHM TEXTILE. The new name puts textile at the centre while “rhythm” reflects the founders’ approach to working at their own pace rather than simply following trends or the market. It’s a philosophy that has made the label especially relevant in a moment when craft, individuality and fabric are becoming increasingly important in fashion.
For its Jordan collaboration, NOMARHYTHM looks beyond basketball to Japan’s equally deep relationship with baseball, creating a fictional team called “RHYTHM” and designing the collection as its uniform.
These straight-leg pants are cut from washed black cotton, giving the fabric a worn-in character from the start. White patterned trim runs down the outer seams like a hand-drawn sports stripe, while articulated knee panels, welt pockets and a Jordan x NOMARHYTHM TEXTILE patch at the back bring in the utility.
Somewhere between a work pant, a team uniform and Tokyo streetwear.
