Why this shoe? What do you like about the Nike C1TY?

The Nike C1TY has a clean look and an incredibly comfortable feel. I’ve been wearing Nikes my whole life. It all started with my love for tennis and watching Roger Federer. He wore Nikes for most of his career, and as a 10-year-old fan, that sealed the deal. For me, Nike's weren’t just shoes, they were the only choice.

How do you describe Delhi in your own words?

Delhi is home, not just to me, but to a vibrant mix of expressionists who add colour to the city despite the chaos. There's passion in every corner, pushing through the smog to amplify the city’s already rich history. That energy makes Delhi feel deeply personal, like it’s not just a place, but ours.

What did it take for you to be where you are today?

About 17 years ago, a running injury led me to try climbing — within a year, I’d quit running altogether. Climbing quickly became an obsession, and eventually, I co-founded BoulderBox with my cousin Vrinda to share that passion with others.

I’ve always believed most people are just doing their best, and I’m no different. I try to bring optimism and intention into every space I enter. I’m also mindful of the role of luck: where I was born, who raised me, and the people who’ve shaped my path. We’re all shaped by chance, but we also have the power to shape it back.
