Adidas Originals X SP5DER ADIZERO F50 FORMOTION

The SP5DER x adidas F50 Formotion in Solar Green takes adidas football heritage and runs it through SP5DER’s loud, graphic-heavy visual language. The hybrid silhouette combines an upper inspired by the Adizero F50 III football boot with Formotion tooling originally developed for running—a collision of pitch and pavement.

Founded by Young Thug in 2019, Atlanta-born SP5DER is known for vivid colour, oversized graphics, rhinestones and its recurring spiderweb motif, most famously across hoodies and matching sweats. The brand’s mix of hip-hop, streetwear and punk references translates naturally onto the F50. This colourway moves away from the metallic silver of the original release with an almost head-to-toe Solar Green treatment. Open mesh and glossy overlays create layers across the upper, while Core Black grounds the Three Stripes, moulded heel cage and segmented sole. Silver Metallic edging, a small spider at the toe, SP5DER branding on the tongue and a star graphic at the heel add the details.

It is not a subtle shoe, which feels appropriate for SP5DER. The fluorescent green works particularly well against black, washed denim or technical sportswear, while the exaggerated Formotion sole keeps the early-2000s performance influence visible.
